A Theater in Medicine Event
Breathe, a True Story. 
A theatrical presentation by Brennan Reeves, actor & Cystic Fibrosis patient; a creative autobiographical show designed to enhance your knowledge of Cystic Fibrosis through Art & Science.  Described at Hilarious and Heartbreaking; this solo show, performed by writer, actor and double lung transplant recipient, Brennen Reeves, is about one man's journey to live beyond the odds.

Meet the Author/Book Signing Event with Dr. Daniel Reinharth. 
The program will be introduced with the Performance of a Scene by the Osler Society Medicine in Theater Group
Daniel Reinharth, M.D., F.A.C.P., practices and teaches internal medicine and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine.  He is the author of the Dr. David Calder Mystery series, the first two books of which are First Do No Harm and A Catskill Slay Ride

Enhancing your knowledge of Rare Diseases Through Art & Science
The Beyond the Diagnosis art exhibit was curated by the Rare Diseases United Foundation (http://rarediseaseunited.org/), and involves numerous painted portraits of children with rare diseases.

A Question of Mercy, by David Rabe, based upon the Journal by Richard Selzer
The Osler Society Medicine in Theater Group will perform an adaption of this play, to be followed by a panel discussion on the bioethical issue of Physician Assisted Suicide and audience Q&A.

Join us for a reception and Art Exhibit to celebrate works of art submitted by students, faculty and staff of the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine, Northwell Health and Hofstra University, followed by musical and dramatic performance event.  All are welcome. Refreshments will be provided.

Launch of 6th Issue of Narrateur, Reflections on Caring
