Hofstra University and Northwell Health have partnered to create a medical school that emphasizes early clinical experiences, self-directed learning, and a case-based curriculum. We prepare our students for the changing field of medicine through a team-based approach to training and patient care, including a program that focuses on the ability to problem-solve, think critically, and find information efficiently.

Students in all of our programs —MD, MD/PhD, PhD and other joint-degree programs — have access to the resources offered by Hofstra University and the Northwell Health. These include, but are not limited to, recreational facilities, a research institute, a simulation and standardized patient lab center, private practices and over twenty-three hospital sites throughout New York State, including New York city and Long Island.
