Department of Occupational Medicine, Epidemiology and Prevention

The Department of Occupational Medicine, Epidemiology and Prevention was established in 2010 at North Shore University Hospital and Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Led by chair, Dr. Jacqueline Moline, the overall mission of the department is to improve the health and wellness of various populations.

This mission is achieved by identifying the health needs and barriers to care within communities, dissolving health disparities, implementing strategies for promoting and sustaining wellness, and reducing disease and injury.
