New Trial Ebook Platform: LWWHealthLibrary

The Health Sciences Library has initiated a trial of a new ebook platform from Lippincott called the LWWHealthLibrary that provides access to eight of our required textbooks, not formerly available online via a library subscription, as well as other basic science texts. Please take the opportunity to test the access for the books including the full text by chapter, images, animations, quiz reviews, and videos of the physical exam. You can also search a topic across all of the books. Three of the required books for the upcoming Homeostasis course are accessible. Mark's Basic Medical Biochemistry and Principles of Pharmacology by Golan are included.

Please send feedback to Debra Rand about ease of use, navigation problems, changes you would like to see in the product, etc. The product is currently in beta mode and they want our feedback. The link will be on our library website under Library News and we will link pre-readings in Blackboard to specific books.
