Admissions Committee Conflict of Interest Policy
At the Zucker School of Medicine, conflicts of interest are identified as early as possible by Admissions Committee members. Committee members are advised to bring any conflict to the attention of the Associate Dean for Admissions as soon as they become aware of the situation. Any conflict is resolved by reassigning applicants prior to the applicant’s interview and committee presentation. CAC members with a conflict of interest recuse themselves from both discussion of, and voting on a candidate with whom they have a potential conflict.
