The Faculty Council is composed of a broad representation of School of Medicine faculty and advises the dean on all matters related to the faculty, standing committees, and the academic community.
The Admissions Committee is composed of faculty members, fourth-year students, staff members, and community members. It reviews admission criteria on an annual basis and selects applicants for admission to the School.
The Committee of Combined Chairs is composed of the chairs of all academic departments, and advises the dean on strategic planning related to education, research and patient care.
The Curriculum Committee is composed of faculty educators and students, and makes recommendations to the dean regarding the School of Medicine's curriculum.
The Faculty Appointments and Promotions Committee is composed of senior faculty members at the rank of Professor or Associate Professor, and makes recommendations to the dean on all matters related to faculty appointments and promotions.
The Faculty Grievance Committee is composed of senior faculty members, hears all matters referred to it by the dean and makes recommendations to the dean.
The Student Advancement Committee is composed of faculty members and makes recommendations to the dean regarding student academic advancement and graduation.
The Student Council is composed of student representatives of the medical school classes and of the PhD program, and makes recommendations to the dean regarding all matters relating to student academic and non-academic life.
