To foster a community at the Feinstein Institutes, we host a variety of social events on campus, such as a monthly Happy Hour and our annual Thanksgiving Potluck. We also host events across Long Island and NYC:
- a day at Jones Beach,
- a trip to the Queens Zoo,
- and an apple-picking and winery trip.
To support students academically, we have a yearlong mentorship program aimed at helping incoming students adjust to graduate school. We also host bimonthly guest speakers to discuss their science as well as their career paths.
To give back to our local community, we participate in various philanthropic and community service events, including
- walking in the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk,
- hosting a food drive,
- and volunteering with a local food share.
