Policy on Communication

Because email is the School's primary form of communication, barring exceptional circumstances students, faculty, and staff are expected to read and respond to their school-related emails (inclusive of northwell.edu, @hofstra.edu, and @pride.hofstra.edu) on work, school, and/or clinically active days.

In the Second 100 Weeks, students will be expected to determine a mode of communication with their teams and respond in a timely manner unless a clinical situation or supervisor directs otherwise. The School recognizes that communication in a professional school offers an opportunity to practice this lifelong skill, and will support any student who needs assistance in this area.
