At the Zucker School of Medicine, it is the responsibility of the department chair to ensure that all faculty members who are interested in academic promotion receive regular formal feedback on their performance and progress toward promotion. The Zucker School of Medicine helps identify faculty members who are interested in promotion through the Annual Faculty Performance Activity Report (AFPAR) and works collaboratively with the chairs to ensure that the identified faculty members receive formal feedback.
