Respectful Culture

Promoting an Environment for Respectful Culture

The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine provides a safe, and socially respectful environment, for its students.  Interactions between faculty, ancillary staff, or peers and students that are malicious, intended to produce embarrassment, and/or are derogatory do not foster the enriching, nurturing learning environment the faculty and administration wish to provide.  The Zucker School of Medicine expects that its Faculty at all levels (including house officers), staff and students promote a respectful culture.
