The Zucker School of Medicine's Free Clinic is open and ready to see patients on Monday evenings (except holidays) from 6pm to 9pm at 95-25 Queens Boulevard in Rego Park, New York City. Serving the basic, primary care needs of the uninsured, patients who qualify can make an appointment for a clinic visit by calling 516-441-7926 weekdays from 9am to 5pm.
Run by Zucker medical students with the support of onsite faculty-physicians, the Zucker Free Clinic offers annual physicals, sick visits, vaccines, blood work, electrocardiograms and much more for patients in need, including referrals at low or no cost. Nearby Northwell Health's Forest Hills Hospital provides administrative and clinical support to the clinic, including medical records management and emergency care.
The student-run free clinic follows in the footsteps of a free clinic established in the Far Rockaways, a highly successful venture initiated after Hurricane Sandy by Doctors of the World in partnership with the Zucker School of Medicine. The goals of the Queen's facility are to provide access to quality health care while simultaneously establishing a confident, trusting and open connection with the highly diverse population it serves.
