The Zucker School of Medicine is committed to being as prepared as reasonably possible for potential emergencies so that response to and recovery from an emergency takes place smoothly and efficiently. Hofstra University maintains an all-hazards emergency response and recovery plan that includes the protection of students, faculty, and staff at the Zucker School of Medicine: Hofstra University Emergency Response Plan. Students, faculty, and staff members receive training in Northwell Health's emergency management policies and procedures when they are at the clinical sites and Northwell Health maintains a system plan that includes the protection of students, faculty, and staff when they are at Northwell Health clinical sites: Northwell Health System Incident Management Plan.
