A. Accepted MD/PhD students are awarded a scholarship to cover full tuition and fee expenses and are paid a $40,000 stipend annually ($20,000 per semester).

MD/PhD students can complete the PhD portion of their degree at either the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research or Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.

A. While grant writing is not required during PhD years, it is strongly suggested, encouraged, and supported.

A. MD/PhD students complete lab rotations during the summer between the first and second years of the program. While most students complete two rotations, students are welcome to complete more if they have not found a lab that matches their areas of interest.
