In addition to a full tuition and fees scholarship, MD/PhD and PhD students are awarded an annual stipend to support cost of living expenses while enrolled in their respective programs. The annual stipend amount is currently $40,000 with payments split equally between the fall and spring semesters.
Stipends for eligible MD/PhD and PhD students are expected to be paid on or before August 15th for the fall semester and January 15th for the spring semester, unless otherwise specified.
Please be advised this stipend may be taxable and, if so, will need to be included in your taxable income. We encourage you to consult your outside tax advisor regarding any tax obligations that may arise in connection with this payment.
