Building Connections Beyond the Lab
From social gatherings to academic support and community service, there is something for everyone in the Graduate Student Organization.
Community and Social Events
We bring students together through monthly Happy Hours, an annual Thanksgiving Potluck, and off-campus outings across Long Island and NYC, including Jones Beach, the Queens Zoo, and an apple-picking and winery trip.
Academic Support
Our yearlong mentorship program helps incoming students navigate graduate school, complemented by bimonthly guest speakers who share insights on their research and career journeys.
Giving Back
We are committed to our local community through events like the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk, a campus food drive, and volunteering with a local food share organization.
