Enhancing Your Medical Education

The Zucker School of Medicine offers several “MD+” dual degree tracks that allow students to supplement their medical education with expertise in public health, business, research, bioethics, or oral surgery. These programs are designed to graduate physicians who are prepared to lead and innovate in diverse healthcare environments.

Train for the Future of Healthcare

MD/Master of Public Health

Offered in partnership with the School of Health Sciences, this program graduates physicians with an understanding of social, behavioral, and economic determinants of health.

  • Timeline: Five-year program; students typically apply in their 3rd year and take a year for MPH coursework between years 3 and 4.
  • Focus: Population health, research, and healthcare policy analysis.
