The Office of Student Affairs is committed to supporting our students throughout their medical education experience. This starts with providing you an orientation program focused on helping you acclimate and thrive in your new environment. Orientation is held on campus during the last week of July with classes typically beginning the 1st Monday of August.
Our orientation program provides our students with the opportunity to adjust, explore their new surroundings, meet and engage with student, faculty, and staff members of the ZSOM community and begin their medical education journey. Events and programming include: an overview of the services available to our students, curriculum presentations led by upperclassmen inclusive of expectations and tips and tricks for success, and social events.
Upon acceptance, students will receive information regarding orientation and their onboarding requirements our student portal. Our office will communicate with any updates regarding our pre-matriculation requirements and our orientation schedule via email.
