Emergency Medicine Acting Internship
The Medicine Acting Internship in Emergency Medicine is a four-week required clerkship that is scheduled at one of the Northwell Health System's Academic Departments of Emergency Medicine. As part of our goal to better prepare students for residency, students with an interest in Pediatrics are given the opportunity to do most of their rotation in the Pediatric ED at CCMC and are also provided with time in the Adult ED at LIJ. In addition, students rotating through the Adult ED are scheduled for shifts in the Pediatric ED at both NSUH and CCMC.
