Spring Women in Medicine Conference (SWIMC)

The goals of SWIMC are to:
- Educate female faculty about the academic promotion process
- Connect junior and senior faculty members to promote the building of support mechanisms (agency, mentorship, sponsorship) necessary for more successful academic advancement
- Inspire women to apply for advancement in their career
- Improve career satisfaction for faculty members
- Continue an institution-wide dialogue about gender equity and how it can be better supported
- Empower men to become thoughtful allies to their female colleagues
