NEGEA 2017 Highlights
The Zucker School of Medicine's Osler Society presents: The Music, Art & Memory Networking Event
Date: Friday, April 27, 2018 at 5:00pm
Location: Zucker School of Medicine west lounge
(Registration deadline for this event is Thursday, April 12, 2018).
Join us for a musical concert by The Unforgettables Chorus, a choir of individuals with dementia and their caregivers. Experience how music and art can tap into cognition, emotion and memory, enabling patients with dementia to express themselves creatively in spite of their cognitive struggles with memory and words. Music and art helps these individuals reclaim their sense of self and interact with their loved ones in a meaningful and enjoyable way. The special event will take place on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 5:00pm in the Zucker School of Medicine west lounge. Light hors d'oeuvres and wine and beer will be served. There is no fee for the event for NEGEA attendees but registration for the event is required.
Guests of registrants are welcome to attend for a fee of $50 per guest.
Note: Guests are not permitted to attend the conference sessions.
