Ongoing Research

Students are paired with two mentors, a primary investigator from sites across the Northwell Health System, and an in-house mentor, who serves as a faculty member at the medical school. Primary investigators oversee clinical, basic science, medical education and global research projects. These mentors can serve as pediatric surgeons, scientist physicians, clinicians with multiple degrees or members of the community with an interest in solving public health problems.
