Your HofID will appear on your Hofstra badge. If you choose to pick up your badge, it can be picked up at HofstraCard Services located in Room 110 Student Center during the following hours:
FALL/JANUARY/SPRING
Monday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
SUMMER
Monday - Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Directions to Student Center and Card Services: From Exit M4 of the Meadowbrook Parkway you will be on Route 24 West (Hempstead Turnpike). Stay on 24W for about one mile and pass the Coliseum. Hofstra University is on both sides of Hempstead Turnpike and you will see three overhead walkways. For the North Campus Main Entrance, make the first right after the first overhead walkway. The David S. Mack Student Center can be accessed by parking in the first parking lot you see to your left upon driving into the Main Entrance. Card Services is in Room 110, which is located on the first floor of the Student Center.
Your HofstraCard will grant you access to all of the university’s facilities, including the gym, pool, and sports center; discounts at all university cultural events; and parking in the medical school and other campus parking facilities. The magnetic strip at on your card will provide swipe access to the Zucker School of Medicine parking lot. After picking up your HofstraCard, you can go to Public Safety to obtain a University vehicle parking sticker, which will allow you to park in any unrestricted parking area of the campus.
Directions to Public Safety: To get to Public Safety after leaving Card Services, leave the Main Entrance of Hofstra and cross Hempstead Turnpike. Immediately after crossing the Turnpike, enter the first parking lot to the left. This is the Mack Public Safety & Information Center. Public Safety is open for obtaining a parking sticker from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
