Third Year Programs

As students return from completion of Step 1 and the first half of their medical school career, they begin a new transition to full time patient care. While this is a time of excitement for many, there are certain areas of stress and uncertainty that come along with being on the front lines of patient care. During the third year students are exposed to a number of different specialty areas within Medicine. By the end of third year, students are asked to narrow their choices down as they prepare for residency applications.
